NONCOMMUTATIVE GEOMETRY AND GEOMETRY OVER THE FIELD WITH ONE ELEMENT  II
March 26-27, 2009

The purpose of this second workshop on F1 is to hold an informal meeting at which we plan to review and discuss the recent results obtained on this subject since last year workshop (held at Vanderbilt U. on May 15-18, 2008) and also to continue our study of several aspects connected to the existence of relations between Noncommutative Geometry and the geometry over the field with one element.

This workshop is financed with funds provided by the NSF-FRG grant 0652164 "Noncommutative Geometry and Number Theory'' of the four organizers. A small number of experts who have been working on these topics will deliver expository talks and/or present results which are connected with the main themes of the workshop. The participants, that will also include postdocs and graduate students working in connected areas, will be encouraged to exchange ideas and hold informal topical discussions.

People participating in the Jami Conference Topics in Noncommutative Geometry and Arithmetic Geometry from March 23 to March 25, 2009 at JHU are welcome to participate in this workshop as well. In particular, we encourage the graduate students and young postdocs to attend.

Workshop Location:
